| 10 years ago all four of Linda Lewis' children had become adults and had left home. They seemed quite anxious to be as far away as posible. Occasionally they would come back and stay when they were making college or job transitions, but generally, after four active children, her husband and life became quite peaceful at home. Then suddenly they started visiting more, bringing grandchildren and occassionally a granddog with them. They seemed to want to hang out. This sculpture was made in amazement that we can send loved ones off into the world but they find their way back. |
