Raku clay, low fire glaze, found objects
Using low fire glaze on high fire clay causes the glaze to crackle. Black overglaze is sprayed on causing the cracks to absorb the black glaze.
This piece is part of a series of pieces about what people think about. Linda Lewis shares this piece aobut her uncle who thinks of little, except his crops and livestock. The corncob growing out of his head symbolizes those thoughts.
